Privacy levels on every person

Each person in your tree carries its own setting:

• Private - only you can see this portion of your tree.
• Family - visible to the family members you have invited.
• Extended family - shared with cousins, aunts, uncles and the wider branches you invite.
• Public - shared openly so relatives and researchers can find you, if you choose.

Other people cannot browse your tree

People outside your family cannot search through your tree. If someone wants to view a person you have made public, they must ask and you approve each request before anything is shown.

Your data stays yours

You can remove people, photos and memories at any time. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
