AncesHistory is a private, collaborative family tree. It is a place where your family can build its history together: add each person, link them to their parents, partners, siblings, grandparents and wider relatives, and keep the stories, dates and memories that belong to them.

One person, then the next

You do not need to know your whole history to begin. Start with yourself and work outward. Add your parents, then your grandparents, then their parents. Every person gets a profile where you can record names, birth and life dates, places, occupations, photos and a short biography.

Built for the whole family

Invite relatives to help. Each invited member can add what they know, correct what is wrong, and keep the family history alive. Nothing is public by default: you decide what each branch of your tree shares and with whom.

Kept for future generations

The point of recording your family history is that it survives. The tree you build today is the memory your children, grandchildren and their children will inherit.
